ACUTE CARDIAC/ STROKE/ IMCU
$70 / hr
2 or more years of RECENT RN bedside IMCU/ STEPDOWN EXPERIENCE (see below for experience requirements)
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes A, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas. Meets and maintains any requirements defined by a specific specialty
Education
- RN Degree - ADN, BSN or MSN
Certification/Licensure

Valid RN License to practice in Virginia

Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Experience
-
MUST have AT LEAST 2 yrs of RECENT bedside RN experience in IMCU/ StepdownMedical Surgical

EPIC documentation system experience required

CURRENT ACLS, BLS AND NIHSS required
