Position Description:

Performs instructional and educational work while serving as a teacher in a classroom/lab. Organizes and develops course work, coordinates classes for students, observes and assesses the needs of the students. Maintains communication both formally and informally with students and other educators. May supervise clerical, professional and/or technical employees and lab students working for college credit.

Major/Essential Functions:

  • Performs instructional and educational work while serving as a teacher in a classroom/lab.

  • Assist in the design, development, and continuous improvement of curriculum for the AI and Swift Coding micro credential program.

  • Organizes and develops course work, coordinates classes/camps for students

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Swift programming and Apple's development ecosystem.

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and emerging generative AI technologies.

  • Knowledge of project-based learning and instructional best practices.

  • Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; Teacher certification preferred. No experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • Working knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts, tools, and applications.

  • Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or facilitating technology-based instruction for K–12 students, college students, or adult learners.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
