Position Overview

The Accounting Manager will oversee general accounting, treasury, tax compliance, and financial reporting activities for multiple North and South American entities. This individual will play a critical role in preparing consolidated financial statements, supporting audits, managing tax compliance, and serving as a primary financial contact for corporate headquarters in Seoul.

This position is ideal for a CPA with strong technical accounting skills, experience working in multinational environments, and the ability to confidently communicate financial information in both Korean and English.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury functions

  • Oversee cash management, banking relationships, and treasury operations

  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for multiple subsidiaries

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and corporate reporting requirements

  • Coordinate federal, state, and local tax filings in partnership with external advisors

  • Support corporate tax matters, transfer pricing considerations, and intercompany transactions

  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits

  • Maintain strong internal controls and support annual compliance requirements

  • Manage ERP system processes, reconciliations, budgeting activities, and financial analysis

  • Partner closely with corporate headquarters in Seoul on reporting, financial requests, and strategic initiatives

  • Oversee business registrations, licenses, and corporate compliance matters

Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

  • Active CPA license or currently pursuing

  • Fluency in both Korean and English, including professional business communication

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS

  • Experience with corporate tax compliance and multi-entity accounting environments

  • Experience preparing consolidated financial statements

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system

Preferred

  • Experience supporting a multinational or Korea-based parent company

  • Background in international reporting and cross-border operations

  • Familiarity with transfer pricing and intercompany accounting

  • Public accounting experience combined with industry accounting leadership
