Stonebridge at Montgomery is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Tech to join our team!

*$1,500 Sign-On Bonus!

Stonebridge at Montgomery is a Springpoint Senior Living Community located in Skillman, NJ. We are currently in search of a full-time Maintenance Tech to join our team. At Springpoint, our Maintenance Tech is responsible for providing general maintenance for the facility and its residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as a team member with other Maintenance/Facilities Department workers

  • Assist Maintenance Mechanic I to maintain, repair, clean and inspect various equipment throughout the facility including pumps, valves, air handling units, ventilators, fan coils, compressors, motors, roof exhausts, installation of rugs, demolition of apartments, painting, etc.

  • Able to make use of an electronic work order system

  • Maintain accurate records of time and scope utilizing work order request forms

  • Interact well with and assist various vendors and contractors called in to repair or provide services to facility.

  • Provide appropriate assistance to residents, co-workers, and visitors. Represent the facility in a professional manner.

  • Must be able to report to work at off-hours in cases of emergency.

  • Perform all duties in a timely, effective, and cost-efficient manner.

  • Complete and return work order tickets at end of day.

  • Complete communication forms at apartment detailing work complete if resident was not at home.

  • Maintain professional relationships and interact with co-workers, superiors, residents, and visitors.

  • Follow published fire and safety procedures. Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum 3 Years in general maintenance required
