Our union-backed benefits go beyond the basics -providing stability, strong protections, and meaningful perks that reward your hard work and commitment.- Union-provided medical, dental, and vision insurance with no employee deductions (only standard copayments)- Weekly pay- 10 paid holidays plus 4 floating holidays- Vacation and sick time- Union annual wage increases- Annuity (retirement savings plan)- FICA reimbursement after 2 years of employment- Shift differential- Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)- Company-issued boot allowance- Company-provided PPE and apparel- Continual education opportunities- Longevity awards with pay increases- Maternity and bereavementAbout the RoleThe Driver will be responsible for driving a company vehicle throughout the assigned geographic area and ensure safety of self and others while driving.What You'll Do:- Load and unload cargo- Execute local deliveries and obtain authorization signatures. - Ensure the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through the warehouse. - Ensure products are stocked correctly and safely.- Maintain all equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. - Operate equipment safely and efficiently, while complying with OSHA and company standards. - Assist in inventory accuracy and cycle counts. Ensure proper stock rotation. Perform aisle assessments and assignments.What You'll Bring- High School Diploma or equivalent- Valid CDL Class A or B license required. Class A preferred.- DOT Medical Card required- Fork-lift certified a plus- Minimum 2 Years of professional driving experience- Clean driving record- Ability to climb and lift a minimum 25lbsWho We AreFounded in 1923, Turtle is a fourth-generation, family-owned, and three-generation women-owned business, and one of the nation’s largest independent electrical and industrial distributors.
