What you´ll do

  • Ensure overall governance of Asset Accounting process, Corporate Standard Accounting and local accounting/tax law

  • Create and maintain Asset Master Data, utilize Henkel tools to facilitate.

  • Process Asset Capitalization, disposals, Sales, and Intercompany transfers

  • Handle manual General ledger bookings, Goods in Transit and Financial Material Management activities

  • Process various Asset requests using Henkel SAP, Ariba or similar ERP systems

  • Register, barcode, and tag new engineering assets like new equipment, machinery, or infrastructure

  • Perform physical field audits and assess the operational status or wear-and-tear of technical assets.

  • Process asset transfers, reallocations, write-offs, or surplus disposals according to compliance standards

  • Prepare various reconciliations/reports and perform month end closing activities

  • Partner with Project Managers to monitor ongoing investment /CAPEX Projects spending, tracking, spend forecast and related reporting.

  • Escalates project overruns early and work with Project Managers for fixes.

  • Prepare and update monthly, quarterly reconciliation/spend reports to include capital phasing across quarters and years

  • Work on special projects, small investment projects and reconciliation of KI’s

What makes you a good fit

  • Associate degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent relevant work experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ previous experience required in Asset management, CAPEX tracking and reporting

  • SAP experience required

  • Previous experience working in an engineering atmosphere with similar experience preferred

  • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Must have solid working knowledge of PC hardware and software (i.e. word processing and spreadsheet software)

  • Excellent planning and organizational ability

  • Knowledge and understanding of OSHA health & safety policies and rules as they relate to the manufacturing industry

  • Ability to multi-task and meet project deadlines

The salary range for this role is $49,000.00 and $58,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
