Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager for a long term contract at a major hyperscale data center company in Monroe, Louisiana. This role owns the change management function for ongoing construction projects, ensuring all scope changes, field directives, and contract modifications are identified, validated, priced, and executed without compromising safety, schedule, or budget. The Construction Manager will engage, collaborate with, and inform key internal and external stakeholders, including General Contractors, trade partners, design, commissioning, and leadership, to maintain cost and schedule certainty while keeping full compliance with all relevant regulations, contracts, and audits.

Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant construction experience.

8+ years of progressive construction management experience on large-scale industrial, mission-critical, or data center projects, including 3+ years with direct ownership of change orders and contract administration.

Demonstrated experience executing end-to-end change management and its deliverables, from field identification through pricing, negotiation, execution, and closeout.

Experience working with senior levels across the organization, including presenting cost and schedule impacts to leadership.

Responsibilities: Managing the change log end to end: intake, entitlement review, scope validation, independent estimate, negotiation, approval routing, and execution tracking. Running change review meetings with GCs and internal stakeholders; preparing clear and concise messages and supporting content so that decisions, impacts, and required actions are understood across all affected parties. Maintaining trend logs, contingency and allowance drawdown tracking, and rolling change forecasts. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure deliverables stay on track, and assessing schedule impact of each proposed change against the master schedule. Enforcing quality and safety systems, ensuring equipment is protected, and reporting any lag in the schedule or emerging commercial risk. Defining, measuring, and monitoring success metrics for change progress, and maintaining audit-ready documentation with timely reporting to internal leadership.

Pay is between 50-80/hr

Skills and Requirements

Construction change management on large-scale industrial or data center projects, end-to-end ownership of RFIs, PCOs/COs, Field Work Directives, Change Order Requests, and claims through execution and closeout.

Cost and schedule impact analysis independent review and negotiation of GC/subcontractor change pricing (labor, material, equipment, general conditions, markups, escalation), plus time impact analysis and entitlement/merit determination against contract terms.

Large-scale industrial Project Management experience, with a proven history managing General Contractors (GCs) on high-volume industrial structures, including GMP/cost-plus and lump sum contract administration. Working knowledge of the Society of Construction Law (SCL) Delay and Disruption Protocol, or comparable delay analysis guidance, and the ability to apply it to concurrent delay, float ownership, and disruption/productivity-loss assessments.

Mechanical, electrical, and piping scope literacy sufficient to assess technical merit of proposed changes; familiarity with commissioning, and systems testing.

Connectivity and telecom infrastructure familiarity, including fiber network installation scope (cable pulls, terminations, splicing) as it relates to change and rework scope.

Experience in high-scale industries if not data centers such as semiconductor, oil and gas, or large-scale healthcare.

Proficiency with change/document platform ACC and disciplined change log management.

CPM schedule literacy (Primavera P6 or equivalent) sufficient to test GC-asserted time impacts.

Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills to influence credible actions in the field and drive timely, defensible change resolution.
