Description We are looking for an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to join a fast-growing public company in the advanced manufacturing sector based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is ideal for a finance specialist who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to play a key part in strengthening accounting operations, supporting complex transactions, and improving close and reporting processes. The position offers the opportunity to work across corporate and international accounting matters while partnering with leadership on technical and operational initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead corporate accounting activities for designated areas, ensuring accurate reporting, timely completion, and adherence to U.S. GAAP standards.

  • Prepare and review journal entries tied to debt, equity, intercompany balances, foreign currency activity, leases, receivables, and government-related transactions.

  • Complete general ledger reconciliations during the close cycle, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items efficiently.

  • Partner with accounting leadership to address technical accounting matters, support revenue-related issues, and maintain consistency across reporting activities.

  • Use financial and operational systems such as ERP platforms, consolidation tools, reconciliation software, banking applications, and billing portals to manage daily accounting tasks.

  • Support financial statement analysis by explaining period-to-period account movement and providing insight into material variances.

  • Assist with the adoption of new accounting guidance and evaluate how business activity across multiple entities should be reflected in the financial records.

  • Develop and maintain revenue recognition analyses, assess accounting treatment for new revenue channels and contract structures, and prepare or review customer billing as needed.

  • Contribute to a timely month-end close by reviewing financial data across corporate and international entities and helping strengthen internal controls and accounting processes. Requirements • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including responsibility for corporate accounting and month-end close activities.

  • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, journal entry preparation, and account reconciliation procedures.

  • Experience supporting financial statement audits and working within a public company or similarly regulated reporting environment.

  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, including exposure to revenue recognition, leases, intercompany accounting, and foreign currency matters.

  • Ability to analyze complex transactions, identify reporting implications, and communicate findings clearly to leadership.

  • Proficiency with accounting and financial systems used for ERP processing, reconciliations, consolidations, and reporting.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, maintain accuracy, and handle multiple priorities effectively.
