Full job description

Join our team to build cutting-edge cloud-native solutions for one of the world's largest asset management companies. As a Node.js Developer , you'll design microservices and REST APIs while working on high-volume, distributed architecture projects that drive digital transformation in financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable microservices and REST APIs using Node.js in a serverless AWS environment

  • Analyze legacy applications and define target state architecture for modernization initiatives

  • Build front-end applications using Angular while integrating with cloud-native backend services

  • Implement solutions using AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, EKS, Kinesis, and CloudWatch

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Database, CTO organization, and API Economy teams

  • Take end-to-end ownership of products from ideation through post-production support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of professional development experience

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js development and microservices architecture

  • Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and front-end applications

  • Proficiency with AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB

  • Experience with Angular for frontend development and basic Java knowledge for database connectivity

  • Proven ability to work in agile environments with excellent communication and client-facing skills

  • Strong technical leadership abilities with experience analyzing legacy systems and defining modernization strategies
