You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, vehicle traffic issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of the logistics and distribution location, including building interiors, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas.

• Monitor access points and observe activity involving personnel, visitors, and delivery vehicles; report unusual conditions according to site procedures.

• Document incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

• A current guard card or applicable license is preferred.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
