Hybrid Junior Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

Overview A client of ours is looking for a Junior Infrastructure Engineer to join its global Infrastructure team. This role will focus on supporting and maintaining enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, identity management, endpoint services and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of infrastructure or systems experience and is looking to grow into a senior engineering role.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Windows Server, Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments
• Manage Active Directory, Entra ID, and user access requests
• Support Intune-managed devices and endpoint configurations
• Assist with Azure Virtual Desktop and FSLogix environments
• Monitor backups, storage, and infrastructure health
• Troubleshoot escalated infrastructure issues
• Develop PowerShell automation scripts / Technical documentation
• Support global infrastructure projects & operational improvements

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5 years of Infrastructure, Systems Administration or IT Support experience
• Windows Server administration
• Active Directory & Group Policy
• Microsoft Azure exposure
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Microsoft Intune experience
• Microsoft 365 administration/support
• PowerShell scripting experience Can be flex but highly preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• FSLogix
• Azure Backup & Disaster Recovery
• Microsoft Defender XDR / Defender for Endpoint
• Azure DevOps & Git
