Long-Term Substitute Teaching Assistant

Pashley Elementary School – Burnt Hills, NY

The Burnt Hills–Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Teaching Assistant to support students and staff at Pashley Middle School.

Position Details:

  • Location: Pashley Middle School

  • Position: Long-Term Substitute Teaching Assistant (Duration TBD)

  • Hours: 6.5 hours per day

Responsibilities

The Teaching Assistant will work under the direction of certified teaching staff to provide instructional and behavioral support to students. Responsibilities may include assisting with classroom activities, supporting individual student needs, supervising students, and helping maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Ability to work effectively with students and staff

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred
