Job Description

Location: United States - Louisville, KY

Hours: Monday - Friday; 7 - 3:30, OT as needed.

Pay: $18.56 - $27.88

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs standardized quality control tests/inspections on products, materials, components.

Ensure compliance with internal/external quality standards.

Records inspection data and compares to existing standards.

Clearly communicate and document non-conformances.

Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher levels.

Performs housekeeping and 5S to keep the department clean, safe, and well organized.

Understands and participates in continuous improvement activities.

Must be able and willing to float to areas of greatest business needs.

Takes on new activities or special assignments when given.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

1 - 2 years of manufacturing or related experience.

Previous inspection training and /or experience preferred.

Experience with Lean and continuous improvement projects preferred.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Applies basic inspection skills related to inspection procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment.

Familiar with using the appropriate inspection tooling (i.e., micrometers, calipers, thread gages) to accurately measure part features preferred.

Engineering drawing (blueprint) reading skills preferred.

Able to perform basic math with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

PC Skills in order to navigate production reporting (SAP).

Ability to follow standard work as trained.

Total Compensation = Pay range + Benefits

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Sales and Service Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. The salary range reflects both entry into the role and future growth. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
