About the Role:
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing daily warehouse operations in our 24-hour cold storage facility, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely processing of inventory and shipments. This position leads a team of warehouse associates, coordinates workflow, and maintains a safe, organized, and compliant work environment. The Warehouse Supervisor serves as a key liaison between warehouse staff and management, facilitating communication, problem-solving, and operational excellence.
This role operates 3rd shift (in progress,) 1st Shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM and 2nd Shift 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM, and associates must be prepared to work extended hours until the job is completed. The position enforces a strict No-Fault Attendance Policy and ensures all warehouse activities support overall supply chain objectives and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of warehouse operations experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role

Basic knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures
-
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, or related field
-
Experience with advanced WMS software and barcode scanning technology
-
Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
-
Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, motivate employees, and maintain productivity during long shifts

Familiarity with OSHA regulations, PPE compliance, wage/hour laws, and food safety standards
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse staff to meet productivity, quality, and safety standards
-
Plan labor and schedules to meet throughput goals while managing extended shifts and high-volume periods

Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements
-
Enforce strict No-Fault Attendance Policy consistently across all shifts
-
Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse team members to promote professional development and performance improvement
-
Collaborate with operations, logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to optimize warehouse efficiency and resolve issues
-
Monitor inventory levels, quality control, and operational KPIs, using data to make staffing and scheduling decisions
Required Skills:

Strong leadership skills with the ability to maintain team motivation and accountability during long shifts

Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills

Organizational skills to manage staffing, labor planning, and workflow in a 24-hour operation

Knowledge of OSHA, PPE, wage/hour compliance, and warehouse safety standards

Proficiency with WMS and inventory software for accurate tracking and reporting

Physical stamina and attention to safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
