Full job description

Summary

Chenega Services and Federal Solutions, LLC (CSFS) is seeking an Acquisition Administrative Support Specialist to support Food and Drug Administrations (FDA) Office of the Commissioner Strategic Initiative Programs. The Acquisition Administrative Support Specialist shall provide Acquisitions and Federal Assistance Support Services for the coordination and management of selected initiatives, including the Sentinel 3.0 program team. The FDA Sentinel Initiative is a national electronic system used to monitor the safety of approved medical productssuch as drugs, vaccines, and medical devicesafter they reach the market.

Work Location: Remote- Qualified candidate must be local to Silver Spring, MD

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with different programmatic staffers to research, gather, assemble and/or review supporting documentations to support creation of full Acquisition Packages (AP).

  • Conduct research and ensure the use of proper technical terminology for acquisitions related documents.

  • Translate technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.

  • Provide input to reports and document findings, as required, with guidance of the lead analyst, SMEs or CORs.

  • Assist in the performance of market research and trends, as they apply to the program.

  • Assist with other administrative functions as they relate to acquisitions (examples such as make copies in support of operations, process requisitions, market research of simplified procurement as requested by government staff, etc.)

  • Assists with uploading, downloading, and creating documents in SharePoint.

  • Assists with scheduling meetings, organizing meeting agenda, recording meeting minutes and distributing to staff.

  • Assist with processing invoices for payment.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelors Degree in related field of study

  • Minimum of 4 years experience direct relatable Federal Acquisition role

  • Knowledge of federal acquisition methods and techniques

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability and desire to read/research to obtain knowledge of purchasing/contracting methods and techniques including small purchasing techniques, complex federal acquisition, research and interpretation of laws, regulations, and policies and procedures.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills.

  • Computing skills including ability to use Microsoft Office suite.
