Full job description

Now Hiring: LPN or RN – Pediatric Home Care Nurse

Location: Lebanon, MO & Surrounding areas

Schedule: Weekday Days

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring compassionate, skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for our Private Duty Nursing division. In this role, you provide dedicated, one-on-one skilled care to pediatric and young adult patients with specialized medical needs, allowing them to remain safe and supported in their own homes.

We welcome experienced pediatric clinicians as well as nurses eager to learn specialized home-care skills. Every nurse receives comprehensive, hands-on clinical training before taking their first independent shift.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, one-on-one nursing care in accordance with the physician-ordered plan of care.

  • Administer medications, perform skilled treatments, and monitor vital signs and patient status.

  • Manage specialized medical equipment (e.g., G-tubes, tracheostomies, or ventilators, based on specific patient needs).

  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.

  • Collaborate closely with the patient’s family, interdisciplinary care team, and clinical supervisors.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Pay with consistent, predictable scheduling options (day, night, and weekend shifts).

  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off (PTO), and 401(k)—available to both Full-Time and Part-Time employees.

  • Annual Stay Bonus: Offered to both Full-Time and Part-Time nurses.

  • Paid, Hands-On Training: In-depth orientation and pre-shift training tailored to your assigned patient's specific care plan.

  • 24/7 Clinical Support: Ongoing guidance and on-call nursing supervisor support.

Requirements

  • Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of practice.

  • Pediatric or home-care experience is a plus, but not required; full clinical training is provided.

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and dependable follow-through.
