Technical Project Manager

Job Description

A client in the entertainment industry is seeking a hands-on Technical Project Manager to drive FAST streaming technology initiatives. This person will manage technical projects while actively validating APIs, integrations, data, and releases using SQL, logs, and monitoring tools. They will troubleshoot issues with engineering and vendors, support production validation, manage risks and dependencies, and coordinate delivery across engineering, product, QA, video operations, and data teams.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years in technical project/program management, software engineering, QA/SDET, or related technical roles Hands-on REST API and systems integration testing Working SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting Experience driving software/platform delivery and Agile processes Ability to troubleshoot defects, trace data flows, and validate releases Strong cross-functional and stakeholder communication skills Previous software engineering experience QA/SDET, solutions engineering, systems integration, or platform engineering background Python, JavaScript, or similar scripting experience FAST/OTT or streaming video experience Knowledge of video workflows, metadata, content management, or playback technologies
