Job Description

QUALITY TECHNICIAN – 3rd SHIFT

Make an Impact on the Shop Floor

We’re looking for a hands-on Quality Technician to be the go-to quality presence on the production floor. In this role, you’ll help ensure our products meet customer expectations while supporting operators and driving continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary quality contact on the production floor

  • Monitor processes and products to ensure compliance with customer and internal standards

  • Support production teams with inspection methods, measurements, and quality decisions

  • Assist with control plans, PFMEAs, process flows, and inspection standards

  • Lead or participate in root cause analysis (5 Why, cause & effect, defect recreation)

  • Create and update quality documentation and work instructions

  • Conduct line audits and inspections to ensure adherence to standards

  • Stop production when necessary to prevent quality risks

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma (required)

  • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or quality environment

  • Ability to read blueprints and inspection standards

  • Experience with measurement tools and gauging techniques

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to coach and support others

  • ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
