Job Duties
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Developmental Adapted Physical Education (DAPE) Teacher to join a supportive school team in Anoka, Minnesota for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time contract opportunity offering competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and weekly pay.
As a DAPE Teacher, you will provide specialized physical education instruction to students with disabilities, helping them develop motor skills, physical fitness, and confidence while ensuring participation in an inclusive educational environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized adapted physical education programs.
Assess student physical and motor development needs.
Collaborate with special education staff, therapists, administrators, and families.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress reporting.
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district requirements.
Foster a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
Valid Minnesota Developmental Adapted Physical Education (DAPE) License required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively with students with diverse learning and physical needs.
Previous school-based experience preferred but not required.
