Full job description

Job Description

This position’s responsibility will be to work and assist in all area(s) of the shipping/receiving warehouse. The primary duties of the position to include, but not be limited to:

  1. To unload/load incoming/outgoing raw materials (ingredients, packaging) for the plant

  2. To shuffle raw materials received to the plant as needed

  3. This position will be responsible to ensure that finished product trailers, both empty and full are moved to and from plant docks.

  4. This position will be responsible to receive/track all incoming raw materials though the use of the computerized inventory tracking system

Must meet/comply with DOT (Department of Transportation) driving laws and regulations. Must be able to communicate/coordinate and prioritize warehousing work schedule.

Minimum starting pay rate is $21.42 for first 90 days. After 90 days $26.19 with time and ½ rate of $39.28 per hour and double time rate of $52.38 per hour

Requirements

Applicant must have High School Diploma/GED---Must be 21+ years of age

Must be available to work full time 1 st , 2 nd , and 3 rd shift, weekends and required overtime

Must have the ability to and be capable of driving a tractor trailer unit and must have the ability to maintain accurate record keeping including the maintenance of driver logbooks

Must have the ability and be capable of obtaining certification to operate a fork truck.

Must obtain or hold a Class A CDL certification and will comply with the hours-of-service regulations under v49CFR Part 395 of the Federal Motor Carrier/Safety Administration.
