Shift Details: Part-Time - 12 hours/week

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday from 9:00am-1:00pm - On-Call/Float opportunity available as well!

Compensation: $15.00/hour

Location: Anoka Senior Center - 1500 6th Ave, Anoka, MN 55303

About the job:

VOAMN Senior Nutrition Program is hiring a part-time Cook to prepare and serve meals to program participants, senior adults aged 60 and over, and maintain sanitary and orderly food service areas.

Essentials:

  • Follow prescribed procedures for preparing program defined meals, completing meal set up as defined by the program, serving and/or delivering meals to participants as defined by the program.

  • Inventory food, temp food, per safe food handling standards.

  • Ensure all food service areas, storage, supply areas and utensils are sanitary and orderly.

  • Maintain reservations and temperature logs

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • Ability to lift, up to 25 lbs.

  • Effective communication skills
