Description: MercyOne Des Moines is seeking a BC/BE Neurosurgeon to join our collegial Neurosurgery team. We offer competitive base salary of $1.1 million with 2-yr income guarantee, $100,000 bonus, moving allowance $15,000, CME $5000 and time off 31 days up to 35 days per year, malpractice with tail coverage, 403(b) and so much more!

Opportunity Details:

  • Case mix includes complex spine, neurovascular conditions, brain and busy trauma service
  • Two Clinic Days/3 OR Days
  • No elective cases or clinic while on Trauma Call
  • Dedicated Clinic RN for each Physician
  • Call 1:4 with APP taking 1st call
  • APP’s primary assist with daily inpatient rounding
  • On site X-Ray, CT and MRI/ Functional MRI
  • Robust spine center with integrated Pain and PMR
  • EMR : CERNER Moving to EPIC Fall 2025
