Full job description

New Bedford Harbor Hotel is a unique location in Downtown New Bedford & we are looking for a leader to Join Our Team! This hotel is part of the Lafrance Hospitality family, Join Our Legacy & Grow your Hospitality Career.

Our Operations Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations to ensure all our guests receive an exceptional experience while maximizing profitability. This position provides leadership, coaching, and operational support across key departments, including Harbor Hotel Front Desk, Housekeeping, 222 Union Food & Beverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for departments as assigned by the General Manager

  • Monitor and analyze guest satisfaction scores with staff and management, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance the guest experience

  • Ensure guest reviews are responded to promptly and professionally

  • Respond promptly and effectively to guest and employee needs, concerns, and requests

  • Assists with food and beverage as needed in the 222 Cafe

  • Support the onboarding and training of new team members

  • Help where needed to maintain smooth hotel operations

PAY: $20 -$23 PER HOUR

JOB TYPE: FULL - TIME, Weekends & Holidays

Requirements

  • Availability and flexibility to work across all hotel departments as operational needs require.

  • Solid knowledge of the hotel and hospitality industry, gained through relevant experience and/or training.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests, employees, vendors, and management.
