Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery
Location: Hinesville, Georgia
Type: Permanent
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 3 days a week, scheduled as needed, every other weekend shift
Overview
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery / Postpartum RN in Hinesville, GA supporting an LDRP model in a small-hospital setting. Day shift (7a–7p), three 12s/week, every other weekend; GA RN license + BLS/ACLS/NRP/STABLE required.
Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.

Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.

Assist physicians and healthcare providers during labor and delivery procedures.

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.

Educate patients and family members regarding labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Adhere to all hospital, regulatory, and patient safety standards.
Requirements
-
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.

Recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
-
Current ACLS certification.
-
Current BLS certification.
-
Current NRP certification.
-
Current STABLE certification.
-
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
-
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Previous experience in a community hospital setting.
-
Experience managing high-acuity Labor & Delivery patients.

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
