Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 3100 E FLETCHER AVE City: TAMPA State: Florida Postal Code: 33613 Job Description:

  • Monitors levels of all endoscopy instruments and supplies.
  • Follows written procedures for high-level disinfection and chemical and biological monitoring.
  • Performs treatments and procedures within the defined scope of practice.
  • Provides supportive care to patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and physician.
  • Ensures the endoscopy suite is adequately prepared for procedures.
  • Prepares the room in a timely manner with all anticipated supplies and equipment for each endoscopy procedure.
  • Demonstrates competence in the care and accurate handling of specimens.
  • Checks all equipment and instruments needed prior to each procedure to ensure proper functioning.
  • Assists in positioning, prepping, and draping patients for endoscopy procedures.
  • Maintains an orderly environment and anticipates the needs of the physician during procedures.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in the setup of multi-specialty endoscopy procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned. Demonstrates dexterity, knowledge, and safety in the care and handling of endoscopy instrumentation and supplies.

  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills. [Required]

  • Knowledgeable about professional and practice issues related to the field of Gastroenterology. [Required

Education:

  • High School Grad or Equivalent [Required]
  • Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]

Work Experience:

  • 1+ work related experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$17.28 - $27.65 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
