As the Training Team Lead , you will guide a talented team of technical trainers while shaping learning strategies that strengthen performance across the organization. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to influence leaders, solve complex workforce development challenges, and build scalable training experiences that help Associates succeed. Along the way, you will expand your own expertise in people leadership, performance consulting, change management, strategic planning, and cross-functional partnership—making this an exciting next step for a leader who is ready to grow while helping others reach their full potential.

What you will do:

  • Act as an internal consultant, provide technical advice and consultation to customer groups and stakeholders byadvisingmanagement on project operations and activities.

  • Develop mechanism to evaluate training needs of clients toidentifytraining desired;identifyingtarget groups, testing evaluation mechanism with pilot groups todetermineeffectiveness and efficiency; anddeterminingbest method of delivering training.

  • Provide day-to-day leadership to the technical training and curriculum development staff.

  • Develop methods to routinely assess the effectiveness of the training staff and associated training programs on multiple campuses.

  • Develop,identifygapsand negotiate solutions related to the quarterly training delivery schedules for all platforms on multiple campuses.

  • Promote staff professional development and career growth.

  • Build effective relationships within all levels of the organization.

  • Successfullyinterface withmembers of our senior management team.

  • Effectively and positively advocate the Workforce Development department's perspective at all times.

  • Ensure thattrainingrooms are appropriately equipped.

  • Draft annual training budget associated with technical training activities.

  • Independently develop and administer performance improvement plans and activities.

  • Consult with other departments toassess (non-routine)training needs.

  • Promote teamwork at all times.

  • Employappropriate levelsof flexibility, customer service, conflict resolution, problem solving, innovation and "big picture" thinking.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • As part of this role, you may be assigned internal controls derived from Premera’s internal controls framework. You will be accountable for understanding the controls assigned to you, their impacts on Premera, and to ensure that they areoperatingeffectively.

What you will bring:

  • ABachelor'sdegree or four (4) yearsofwork experience(Required).

  • Two(2)yearsofexperience with technical training orproceduresdevelopment programs(Required).

  • Two(2)yearsofexperience in customer service, contact center or operations(Required).

  • PreviousTeam Leader/supervisory experience.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced training environment.

  • AnAdvanced Degree.

  • Professional Certifications (Project Management, Technology, Performance Consulting).

  • Experience with Change and Transition Management.

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.

The salary range for this role is posted below; we generally target up to and around the midpoint of the range.

National Salary Range:

$80,200.00 - $114,200.00

National Plus Salary Range:

$80,200.00 - $130,200.00

*National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska .
