Location: 8297 Stonewall Shops Square Gainesville, VA 20155 Availability Requirement for this role: Morning, afternoon, evening (includes weekends).Shifts end as late as 9pm Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older Time Type: Part time Pay Range: $23 - $23.50 / hour

Job Description: Note: To be considered for this position, you must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and certified with the Virginia Board of Pharmacy.

What You'll Do

  • Verify and input prescription information, process prescription requests and dispense medication
  • Build trusted relationships with customers by demonstrating patience, empathy and compassion
  • Troubleshoot rejected insurance claims and address issues to achieve the best outcome for patients
  • Maintaining appropriate inventory levels through proper ordering and rotating drugs and other supplies
  • Properly handle products and equipment, and maintain accurate logs

Requirements

  • Certified pharmacy technician
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Proficient in basic math to support accurate data entry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience ordering product and controlling inventory
