Now Hiring: Patient Services Representative / Call Center Representative

Locations: Southington & Wallingford, CT

What You'll Do

As the voice of the organization, you'll help create a seamless and positive patient experience by:

  • Managing 75+ inbound patient calls daily in a busy healthcare call center

  • Scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments with accuracy and efficiency

  • Utilizing Epic EMR to document patient interactions and maintain accurate records

  • Answering patient questions and providing exceptional customer service with empathy and professionalism

  • Coordinating with clinical and administrative teams to ensure patients receive the support they need

  • Maintaining up-to-date patient registration and demographic information

  • Meeting productivity and quality goals while delivering outstanding service

  • Multitasking across scheduling systems, Epic, and phone platforms with confidence

  • Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting ongoing process improvements

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

  • Epic EMR experience (required)

  • Previous medical scheduling experience in a healthcare setting

  • Customer service and/or call center experience

  • Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset

  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment handling multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical receptionist or healthcare front desk experience

  • Experience in orthopedic or specialty practice settings

  • Familiarity with healthcare scheduling workflows

  • Proven ability to build rapport with patients and create positive experiences

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southington, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
