We're interested in professionals who have built and supported enterprise cloud environments and enjoy solving complex infrastructure and platform challenges. Successful candidates typically bring experience in several of the following areas:

Cloud Platforms & Architecture

Experience designing, implementing, and supporting solutions on Microsoft Azure, AWS, or comparable cloud platforms.

Knowledge of cloud networking, virtual private environments, identity and access management, DNS, VPNs, and security best practices.

Understanding of highly available, fault-tolerant, and disaster recovery-focused architectures.

GIS & Geospatial Technologies

Background working with Esri enterprise solutions, including environments such as ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and enterprise geodatabases.

Experience supporting geospatial applications within enterprise or large-scale production environments.

Ability to translate business and operational requirements into scalable GIS platform solutions.

Modern Infrastructure & Automation

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, container orchestration, and microservices-based deployments.

Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef, or similar technologies.

Familiarity with cloud deployment, provisioning, and operational automation practices.

Cloud Security & Performance

Strong understanding of cloud security architecture, governance, and compliance principles.

Experience monitoring, tuning, and optimizing enterprise systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, ArcGIS Monitor, or similar solutions.

Networking, Load Balancing & Enterprise Platforms

Experience supporting application delivery and networking technologies including NGINX, F5, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), Azure Application Gateway, AWS Elastic Load Balancer, or similar solutions.

Knowledge of Layer 4 and Layer 7 traffic management, reverse proxies, and secure network design.

Exposure to virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere/ESXi, Citrix Hypervisor, VDI environments, and hybrid infrastructure.

Database & Platform Administration

Experience working with enterprise databases, storage platforms, replication strategies, backup solutions, and data recovery practices.

Familiarity with enterprise geodatabase administration and cloud-hosted data services.

Understanding of high-volume, business-critical production environments.

Professional Skills

Strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Comfortable leading technical discussions, architecture workshops, and solution reviews.

Passion for mentoring teammates, sharing knowledge, and staying current with emerging cloud technologies.

Nice to Have

While not required, the following experience would be especially valuable:

Utility, energy, telecommunications, transportation, or infrastructure industry experience.

Experience supporting hybrid cloud, private cloud, or multi-cloud environments.

Exposure to GPU-enabled infrastructure leveraging technologies from NVIDIA or AMD.

Familiarity with Esri Cloud Builder, ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes, or large-scale GIS modernization initiatives.

Active cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or related credentials.

Knowledge of Esri, AWS, Azure, or Google Well-Architected Frameworks and their application to enterprise technology environments.

12-month contract to hire
