Overview

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 7:00am-5:30pm

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Licensed Vocational Nurse provide nursing assistance to the ambulatory programs of a division including management of patient flow, patient intake, and maintenance of clinic facilities. Employee will follow applicable policies and procedures in handling supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1+ year pediatric nursing experience, preferred. Organizational skills.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: Completed licensed vocational nurse program. Current license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of California. Current AHA CPR card. IV certificate from the California state board and Phlebotomy certification preferred.

The Cardiology Clinic LVN supports daily clinic operations and the coordination of patient care, including patient education, triage, medication management support, and interdisciplinary care coordination.

Pay Scale Information

USD $58,822.40 - USD $78,416.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
