Operations Specialist

Description

We are looking for a Business Operations Specialist to support a legal-focused organization in Sacramento, California through a Long-term Contract engagement. This position is ideal for someone who can turn operational data into clear insights, strengthen reporting practices, and help improve day-to-day performance across service and support functions. The role combines analytics, coordination, and process oversight, with a strong emphasis on KPI tracking, vendor collaboration, and project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain performance dashboards and recurring reports that highlight service trends, productivity, and key operational outcomes.

• Analyze call center and business metrics to identify patterns, surface risks, and recommend practical actions that improve efficiency and service quality.

• Use Power BI and other reporting tools to transform raw data into clear visual summaries for leadership and operational teams.

• Coordinate with external partners and internal stakeholders to monitor vendor performance, address service issues, and support accountability measures.

• Manage operational projects by tracking milestones, organizing deliverables, and ensuring work progresses according to priorities and timelines.

• Support learning and compliance activities by administering or coordinating Learning Management System processes, records, and reporting needs.

• Perform criticality assessments to help prioritize operational issues, resource needs, and business-impacting activities.

• Contribute to process updates and operational changes, including implementation-related tasks when business systems or workflows are adjusted.

Requirements • Experience in operations support, reporting, or business analysis within a structured service environment.

• Strong knowledge of KPI reporting and the ability to interpret performance data for operational decision-making.

• Proficiency with Power BI and related tools used for dashboard creation, data visualization, and reporting.

• Familiarity with call center metrics, consumer banking operations, or credit card industry processes.

• Experience working with vendor management practices and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.

• Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems and their use in training administration or reporting.
