Job Description
STATISTICAL PROGRAMMER:Design, develop, and evaluate mechanical systems and products, including testing methods and validation of system performance. Support product development and lifecycle engineering
activities, including design control, change management, and documentation. Conduct design verification and validation, including test planning, execution, and analysis. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve product and process issues. Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing sites to support production, quality, and supply chain objectives. Prepare and review engineering
documentation, including specifications, protocols, and reports. Utilize CAD tools for design and modeling and apply engineering calculations and statistical methods to support product development and process optimization. Conduct risk assessments, including DFMEA and PFMEA, and support process validation, capability studies, and first article inspections. Lead engineering changes and ensure compliance with design and performance specifications. Apply project management methodologies to execute engineering projects and support continuous improvement initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field. Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in the offered position or in any position in which the experience was gained
