The Vice President, design & construction Sodexo Live! Sports & Leisure North America is the leading role providing strategic and operational leadership in designing, building and maintaining the Sodexo Live! facilities in close partnership with our clients.
The Vice President, design & construction is responsible for driving end to end all major capital projects from design delivery controlling, financials, supply chain and construction with the support of the Sodexo Live! and Sodexo function
Provides strategic vision and direction, leading organization or its business function. Oversees area of responsibility, directing the responsibilities of employees. Holds management accountability for a business, division, major geography, corporate function or major corporate sub-function. Develops, establishes and approves long-term vision and strategy for the area managed. Goal achievement is typically accomplished through performance of direct and / or indirect reports. The scope of responsibility includes the entire organization and / or selected line of business / business entity.
Pay Range: $181220 per year - $281380 per year
Incentive Eligibility: Eligible to participate in Sodexo's incentive plan and earn variable compensation in addition to base salary

Act as a solution designer for new build or existing spaces to deliver efficiency and quality

Assess the needs for remodeling, upgrades, transformation based on operational reviews and clients’ expectations.

Build capital projects on all aspects (design, financials, supply chain, project plan) for CEO / CFO reviews.

Actively lead the construction, refurbishment, or remodeling of locations.

Lead the Facility Designer to write specifications, select bidders, award contracts and final approval of work performed on all building and grounds contracts, and work with engineers in correcting problems.

Oversee the installations/reconfigurations of equipment to meet opening locations needs.

Ensure consistency in operational reports and analysis setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations and conclusions as well as mitigation plans.

Provide the expertise in global sourcing, strategic alliances, and rigorous decision making to leverage internal and external resources for producing new and existing products.

Ensure consistent robust management and tracking of PO systems and catalog distribution.

Ensure that the design of all new products are cost optimized meeting regulatory and client requirements.

Manage team’s performance and professional development.

Lead safety and quality construction processes.

Ensure compliance with all applicable construction and safety regulations.

Monitor and ensure that all construction plans are made in accordance to regulations.
