Quality Engineer

Mead, CO

$30.00 - $35.00/Hour DOE

Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday-Friday

Manpower is currently seeking a Quality Engineer for a manufacturing company in Mead, CO. This position will support quality systems, customer requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives within a precision machining environment serving the aerospace industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with production teams, solving manufacturing challenges, and driving quality improvements across the organization.

What will you be doing?

  • Support quality assurance activities throughout the manufacturing process

  • Investigate nonconformances and participate in root cause analysis efforts

  • Lead and support corrective and preventive action activities

  • Review customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality requirements

  • Assist with First Article Inspections and related documentation

  • Monitor quality metrics and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Partner with production, engineering, and inspection teams to resolve quality concerns

  • Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement projects

  • Support supplier quality investigations and corrective actions

  • Assist with customer audits and quality-related inquiries

  • Ensure compliance with quality procedures and industry standards

  • Maintain accurate quality records and documentation

What do you bring?

  • Experience in a Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Specialist, or similar manufacturing-focused role

  • Strong understanding of quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

  • Knowledge of GD&T and inspection processes

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Precision machining experience

  • Aerospace manufacturing experience

  • Knowledge of AS9100 quality systems

  • First Article Inspection (AS9102) experience

  • Internal auditing experience

  • CMM inspection knowledge

  • Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience

  • Supplier Quality experience

  • Six Sigma or other quality certifications
