GROUP/DIVISION SUMMARY

The Drug Product Division - North America (DPD-NA) is one of the five divisions that make up the Pharma Services Group. We are made up of approximately 4400 colleagues across six sites who specialize in taking sterile injectable and oral solid dose drug products from development to commercialization.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Site Controller, the Financial Analyst III will become an integral member of the Greenville Finance team at the largest site in the Pharma Services Group (PSG). The holder of this position will develop and provide helpful analytics, as well as will develop strategic partnerships with multiple functions throughout the organization, including Business Management and the Development Services teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, and will have the ability to effectively connect with all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze management reports on the results of the business.

  • Take the initiative to drive analysis linking operational activities with their financial impact, and suggest to management ideas on related, actionable improvements.

  • Prompt and drive communication as well as coordination with other departments to improve the quality of financial information.

  • Maintain and improve written procedures relevant to all major activities.

  • Continuously enhance finance team processes through use of visual management and Finance tier meeting

  • Support annual budget and 5-year planning process.

  • Support financial audits by providing information and explanations to auditors.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree Finance/Accounting required in finance, accounting, or related field; Masters in Business Administration or Accounting preferred.

  • 4+ years related experience with success in a manufacturing environment

  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered

  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP)

  • Experience with Hyperion

  • Experience with data warehousing tools

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Proven ability to drive process improvements

  • Sense of urgency and Attention to Detail

  • Curiosity and initiative to discover root cause

  • Exceptional presentation skills to articulate results to key stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of an extended, cross-functional team

  • Up to 10% travel

Physical Requirements:

Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about office locations. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time Manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights of 10-35 pound pounds. Arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp and type for prolonged periods of time. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time. Ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time. Safety glasses, safety shoes, lab coat, nitrile or similar gloves, safety apron, organic respirator occasionally.
