Salesforce Platform Lead

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Salesforce Platform Lead to support a large-scale Salesforce modernization initiative within an AI-first product organization. This individual will act as the technical owner of the Salesforce ecosystem, driving platform health, release management, governance, and development standards while remaining deeply hands-on with configuration and coding. The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce administration and development expertise with modern AI-enabled delivery practices, leveraging copilots, automated testing, and intelligent tooling to accelerate outcomes. This person will partner closely with product, architecture, and engineering teams to build scalable solutions across Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing initiatives, customer engagement capabilities, and future Agentforce implementations, helping establish the foundation for our clients platform.

• Own overall Salesforce platform health, stability, security, and governance
• Manage production releases, sandbox strategy, backups, and recovery processes
• Review pull requests and enforce development/configuration standards
• Build reusable Flow, Apex, LWC, and integration frameworks for product teams
• Partner with Product Experience teams supporting Marketing Portfolio and Lead Engagement initiatives
• Lead critical incident response and hands-on issue resolution
• Drive agile release cycles with a target cadence of two weeks or less
• Manage and prioritize ongoing technical debt reduction initiatives
• Implement and improve AI-driven development workflows
• Support automated testing, release note generation, and deployment processes
• Measure engineering efficiency and identify opportunities to accelerate delivery through AI Collaborate with solution architects, developers, product managers, and QA teams

Skills and Requirements

• 6-10+ years of Salesforce Administration and Development experience with platform ownership
• Strong experience owning Salesforce production environments, including release management, governance, security, and platform health
• Expert-level Salesforce Flow configuration and automation
• Hands-on Apex development experience
• Experience building Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
• Strong CI/CD, DevOps, deployment, and release management experience
• Deep understanding of Salesforce security model, permissions, sharing rules, roles, and profiles
• Proven experience supporting production incidents and leading troubleshooting efforts
• Daily AI utilization in software delivery, including coding copilots, automated testing, documentation, and release automation
• Experience creating reusable Salesforce platform standards, patterns, and best practices
• Ability to work in a highly hands-on technical leadership role rather than operating solely as an architect or manager
• Salesforce certifications including Admin, Platform App Builder, and Platform Developer
• Manufacturing, distribution, HVAC, or enterprise service industry experience
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud (Data 360), or Agentforce
• French/English bilingual capabilities
• Experience implementing AI-powered development workflows
• Experience with metadata discovery tools and Salesforce automation frameworks
• Previous experience supporting large-scale CRM transformations
• Experience establishing technical debt remediation programs and engineering governance
