Director of AI Delivery

Job Description

An insurance client in the PNW is looking for a Director of AI to support their AI Products within the core business. This person will oversee a global team of Data Scientists, AI / ML Engineers, and Software Engineers to deliver across core business functions. The main product that this person will oversee is within Onboarding and Enrollment, which currently hosts one product called the Underwriting Assistant. The products are Full Stack applications that are custom built, so a background in software development and/or engineering is critical.

This person will need to come from a technical background, such as Data Science or Software Engineering, must have leadership experience, and have confidence to lead teams to build critical AI products within the business.

This team sits globally, but works core PST hours. Must sit within the continental United States.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Development, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• Experience leading a team, preferably globally, through critical product deadlines and delivery
• Must have a technical background, strong preference to those with Databricks, open to those with an Azure background, Python, and/or Angular
• Experience putting AI into production, working with technical team members to continue monitoring, improving, and growing products for the right business use cases
• Data Science background
• Background in Insurance / Banking / Healthcare, highly regulated environments
