By joining our Division of Customer Service as a Administrative Specialist Senior in Franklin County, you’ll have the opportunity to provide professional support to the Medical Review section by working files and cases, reviewing documents and driving history records and assisting on the phones as necessary.
Summary of Responsibilities:

Processes and maintains Medical Review office filing system
-
Reviews complex Medical Review cases
-
Processes medical forms, and maintains correspondence that relates to the client
-
Answers customer inquiries through various resources (phone, chat, etc.)

Maintains driving history records that pertain to the medical evaluation of the driver
Ideal candidate will have experience in:

Basic knowledge of and learning of state laws and rules (KRS/KAR)

This position requires quite a bit of movement involving retrieving and returning of files and folders, and lengthy amounts of time sitting at a desk dedicated to extensive computer use.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION:Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION:Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Working Conditions
Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
