Full job description

The Sr. Manager of Sales Enablement and Business Development merges comprehensive sales training with outbound pipeline strategy, specifically targeting specific verticals/segments, including financial services. Role Overview This position is responsible for building and delivering a continuous learning program for the broader sales organization, while also providing leadership on driving new pipeline and revenue through the Business Development Representative (BDR) team.

  • Develop and manage a strategic training program encompassing sales onboarding, ongoing certification, and continuous education.

  • Establish best practices, tools, and processes for outbound prospecting and lead follow-up.

  • Serve as the primary liaison for sales communications, facilitating weekly sales meetings, QBRs, and the global kickoff event.

  • Manage the Sales Enablement Resource Center and oversee the implementation, training, and support of all sales tools.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to build a systemic approach to lead generation that aligns with sales goals.

  • Tailor outbound messaging, enablement content, and value selling methodologies specifically for the financial services vertical (credit unions, banks, insurance).

  • Manage an established team of BDRs focused on high-volume outbound activity, inbound lead qualification, and opportunity identification.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing sales talent or operating as a top performer in a Sales or Channel Enablement SaaS role.

  • Strong preference for candidates with a background selling into or working directly within financial services (credit unions, banks, insurance companies).

  • Experience delivering and facilitating sales training for small and large groups, both virtually and in-person.

  • Advanced control of value selling methodologies and mandatory Salesforce.com experience.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a significant advantage given to candidates possessing Revenue Operations (RevOps) or Sales Operations experience.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Cultural Attributes

  • Self-Motivated: Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to create new, innovative projects.

  • Strategic Planner: Exceptional attention to detail for coordinating everything from virtual meetings to massive in-person events.

  • Team-Oriented: Leverages resources effectively to review qualification approaches, maximize SQLs, and ultimately improve sales execution.
