Business Office Manager

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm| Hartford, CT

Salary: $70,000–$85,000/Year + Excellent Benefits

Seeking an experienced Business Office Manager to oversee the financial and administrative operations of the facility. This is a great opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional who understands Nursing Home Medicare/Medicaid billing and enjoys leading a team while providing exceptional service to residents and their families.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee the facility's Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Resident Trust Accounts.

  • Ensure accurate and timely Medicare and Medicaid billing.

  • Maintain accurate, current, and compliant financial records.

  • Supervise, support, and provide direction to Business Office staff.

  • Partner with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.

  • Assist residents and families with business office questions while providing professional and compassionate customer service.

  • Help ensure business office processes are accurate, organized, and running efficiently.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous Business Office Management experience in a Nursing Home/SNF/LTC setting.

  • Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing procedures within a nursing home environment.

  • Strong understanding of A/R, A/P, financial records, and general business office functions.

  • Experience supervising or leading Business Office staff.

  • Comfortable working with various software programs.

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
