Insight Global is seeking an Alternative Delivery Manager to join one of our large infrastructure and construction clients. This individual will provide direction and management throughout all phases of alternative and collaborative delivery projects, with a specific focus on large diameter water conveyance projects. This role will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, including business development, teaming, pursuits and proposals, contract management, design management, and project delivery. The Alternative Delivery Manager will work closely with internal construction and preconstruction teams, external partners, municipalities, and clients to develop and deliver complex water infrastructure projects. Travel will vary depending on project assignments and could exceed 50%.

Provide leadership and direction across all phases of large diameter water conveyance projects Support projects throughout the alternative/collaborative delivery lifecycle, including business development, teaming, pursuits, proposals, contracting, design, and project delivery Lead and coordinate efforts between internal construction and preconstruction teams, external partners, municipalities, and clients Manage active contracts and design activities throughout project execution Support the development of pursuit strategies, proposals, and other technical written materials Provide leadership and guidance during both project pursuits and active project delivery Communicate proactively with clients, partners, and internal project teams Manage multiple priorities and project requirements in a fast-paced environment Make timely, informed decisions to support successful project pursuits and execution Travel to project locations as required based on individual assignments

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 10+ years of contractor and/or construction management experience Experience with water conveyance projects Experience working with municipalities and understanding municipal regulations Experience with alternative project delivery methods, including Design-Build and/or EPC Experience serving in key project leadership roles Experience with technical writing, including supporting project pursuits and proposals Understanding of scheduling, estimating, and project controls software Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Ability to travel based on project needs, potentially 50%Professional Engineer (PE) license DBIA certification
