The Practice Manager is responsible for the daily administrative, operational, financial, and patient care support functions of the UCLA Health North Hollywood Specialty Clinics. This position provides leadership and oversight for the following service lines:

• Gastroenterology

• Interventional Endoscopy Services (IES)

• Nutrition Services

• Pain Management

• Colorectal Surgery

• Sports Medicine

Join us and find out for yourself.As the Practice Manager you will oversees the administrative and clinical support functions for our Specialty Care Clinic in North Hollywood, a part of the UCLA Health Community Clinics. This role is responsible for ensuring an effective, compliant, and patient-centered operation through oversight of patient experience, access, financial performance, staffing, clinical quality, and operational execution. You will partner closely with physician leadership and operational stakeholders to support high-quality care delivery consistent with UCLA Health standards and CI-CARE values. Pay Range: $73,000.00 - $149,600.00 annually

Qualifications

Required:

• Demonstrated effective supervisory skills including experience in recruitment, performance appraisal, identification and communication of expectations, discipline, and training.

• Skill in analyzing information and procedures to define objectives, identify patterns and recognize alternatives and their implications.

• Skill in operating a personal computer and software programs, including MS Word, and Excel Spreadsheet.

• Interpersonal skills to promote a cooperative and productive work environment and to establish and maintain cooperative, productive working relationships with faculty, residents, medical students and staff from various social, cultural, and economic backgrounds.

• Working knowledge of medical terminology.

• Writing skills to prepare accurate and concise reports and memorandums that clearly convey information utilizing appropriate vocabulary and grammar.

• Working knowledge of computerized appointment scheduling and registration system, and the ability to effectively train staff in the use of the system.

• Working knowledge of major medical insurance plans.

• Ability to work occasional weekends or evenings as required.

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of University and Hospital policies and procedures to appropriately manage patient registration, cashiering, risk management, and personnel.

• Working knowledge of the CareConnect system.

• Demonstrated experience in managing patient services and nursing staff in a private medical practice or community clinic.

• Accounting skills to plan, prepare and analyze revenue and expense budgets.
