Schedule: Full time Shift: Day-Weekend (United States of America) Address: 1500 SW 1ST AVE City: OCALA State: Florida Postal Code: 34471 Job Description:
- 15-Week training program
- Live E-Learning Instruction and In Person Clinical Training
- Full-time 40 hours per week
- $19.00/HR
- In Person Clinical shifts can vary between 07:00 - 23:00 depending on department availability
- Shift differentials eligible
- Required start date: November 2 ,2026
Learns and follows safety procedures for handling and disposing of waste materials, including hazardous substances, using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) under supervision. Observes departmental efforts in medication-use safety, compliance, and accreditation by participating in assigned learning tasks and activities. Collaborates with pharmacy staff and other healthcare team members to understand workflows and contribute to a positive team environment. Actively participates in training, educational sessions, and mentorship opportunities under supervision to build foundational knowledge and skills in pharmacy practice. Supports routine pharmacy tasks under direct supervision, including organizing supplies and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. Shadows and assists in central and decentralized pharmacy operations, including medication delivery and exposure to automated dispensing cabinet workflows. Assists with automated dispensing cabinet restocking and observes basic troubleshooting steps under technician or pharmacist supervision. Gains familiarity with medication automation systems, pharmacy software, and electronic health records through observation and supervised practice. Helps rotate stock, identify expired medications, and maintain supply organization under the guidance of licensed staff. Assists in preparing and delivering medications under supervision, while learning to identify potential medication safety concerns. Other duties as assigned. Education:
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
- Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]
Field of Study:
- Enrollment in or completion of a pharmacy technician training program

Pay Range:
$16.30 - $26.08 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
