Job Description

Summary of Role:

The Retail Loan Servicing Specialist performs all required transactions and functions in researching, analyzing, and completing member service requests relative to all consumer loans serviced by Broadview Federal Credit Union.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

• Process service requests through DNA Activity Manager, including but not limited to loan corrections/reversals, research, waive charges, subordination agreements, release of premise, loan closure, Home Equity payoff letters, Mortgage Servicing specific requests

• Respond to incoming calls from members and from within the organization.

• Manage the Retail Loan Servicing email inbox and all incoming requests including but not limited to DocuSign requests for frequency changes, general inquiries, skip a pay program processing,

• Processing payments and payoffs for all consumer loan products received daily and ensuring the subsequent Home Equity discharge and satisfaction process is completed within 30 days

• Review and make all necessary corrections to consumer loan accounts using daily, weekly and monthly reports including but not limited to zero balance, loan payment recalculations, Equity Access Sweep, Scheduled Allotments, Past Maturity, Home Equity Discharge, Unapplied Loan Balances, Paid Ahead Loans, 0% Interest Rate, Payoff Tolerance

• Monthly Statement, Notice and Home Equity End of Draw Letters Review

• Annual Portfolio Reviews for but not limited to, Home Equities, Personal Lines of Credit, Student Loans, Tax Forms

• All functions related to Home Equity discharges including but not limited to Loan Payoff Report, Draw to Repay Minor Report, Discharge Mortgages and CEMA’s, County Clerk Corrections, manage extensive mail merge systems

• DNA Release Testing as directed

• Perform other duties as may be assigned by Management

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (G.E.D.)

• Minimum of 1 -2 years’ experience in mortgage or retail loan servicing, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Detailed knowledge of all related internal programs and applications.

• High level of accuracy, decision making, and focus required

Starting Compensation: $20.68 - 24.82/hr., plus a competitive benefits package
