Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will be responsible for logistics, availability planning, or advanced planning and preparation, supporting the execution of the In Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) role for the life-cycle requirements of assigned systems. You will prepare, coordinate, and integrate the identification, development, acquisition, and delivery of logistics requirements and resources for assigned programs. You will assist in the development of supporting data and provide logistics, availability/advanced planning information, logistics plans, recommendations, alternatives, impact statements, and letters of certification to the program office. You will develop and implement comprehensive Integrated Product Support (IPS) plans to ensure that support is available throughout the lifecycle of systems and equipment. You will utilize logistics tools such as Naval Enterprise Resources Planning (N-ERP), Navy Data Environment (NDE), One Touch, Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS), Model Base Product Support (MBPS), and other IPS databases. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying integrated logistics support (ILS) disciplines, processes, and standards associated with new acquisitions, alterations, or Commercial Off the Shelf program requirements, weapon systems or ship platform installation procedures and responsibilities, and maintenance strategies to evaluate system supportability, develop logistics plans and present clear and convincing presentations to a wide audience. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Education may be used to substitute specialized experience with the following: Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree; OR Successful completion of an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled; OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
