Full job description

  • Actively involved in improving welding productivity, welding quality, and safety.

  • Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

  • Able to administer safety and training programs for all department employees.

  • Ability to communicate information clearly and directly to co-workers and supervisors both verbally and in writing.

  • Has the ability to identify, organize, estimate, and recognize differences or similarities with excellent attention to detail.

  • Must be able to stand and work in adverse conditions (outside in all types of weather or inside in a manufacturing environment) for a minimum of 8 hours.

  • Must be able to use simple measuring instruments (tape measure, caliper, etc.).

  • Must be able to do extensive walking, bending, stooping, and moderate to heaving lifting.

  • Must be able to manually work multiple levers and Knobs in association with applicable machines or equipment.
