Job Description

Insight Global has a client in the greater Chattanooga, TN area searching for a Regional IT Manager to oversee IT operations across multiple manufacturing and corporate locations. This individual will act as the bridge between global IT leadership and local business operations, ensuring infrastructure reliability, cybersecurity compliance, end user support, and successful delivery of technology initiatives. The Regional IT Manager will lead local IT teams, manage vendors, support plant operations, and drive continuous improvements across the region.

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience
  • Previous experience leading IT teams and daily IT operations
  • Experience supporting manufacturing environments
  • Experience supporting multiple locations
  • Strong enterprise networking experience (Cisco, routing & switching)
  • Experience with Palo Alto or similar firewall technologies
  • Experience with VPNs, network security, and cybersecurity initiatives
  • Microsoft 365 administration experience
  • Active Directory experience
  • Windows Server infrastructure experience
  • Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills
  • Automotive, industrial, or manufacturing industry experience
  • Experience supporting plant-floor technologies
  • OT/IT environment experience
  • Budget ownership experience
  • Infrastructure project leadership experience
  • Experience working with global IT organizations
  • Strong cybersecurity and risk management background
