Job Description

We are seeking a TS Cyber A&A Engineer. The Cyber Assessment & Authorization (A&A) Engineer will use their A&A background to analyze ACAS/SCC/ConfigOS scans and controls in order to maintain continuous system authorization. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess system vulnerabilities, support account management, generate engineering responses for system POA&Ms, and conduct risk analysis for Risk Acceptance Requests (RARs). The role may also include assisting with the creation and maintenance of system packages in eMASS/Xacta. Primary work location is Schriever Space Force Base.

PR: 60-75/hr DOE

Skills and Requirements

  • Solid cybersecurity engineering skills with working knowledge of cyber technologies, DoDI 8500.2, and RMF / NIST 800-53

  • Thorough understanding of ACAS/SCC outputs Hands-on experience reviewing scan data, STIGs, and RMF controls

  • Experience with eMASS and Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) accreditation

  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication

  • Advanced degree with 3+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience (or equivalent)

  • Experience managing Cyber Tasking Orders (CTO)/IAVMs and POA&Ms

  • Experience working with third-party assessors and auditors

  • Experience performing self-assessments and analyzing STIGs

  • Experience managing and auditing accounts Knowledge of patch and configuration management across complex, disparate enterprise systems

  • Experience with Xacta in addition to eMASS
