Position Summary:
This role is responsible for implementing strategic sourcing and vendor relationship strategies for all IT asset acquisitions (Hardware and software) and contract labor. Accountable for contract management and administration as well as relationship management which includes issue and dispute resolution, contract interpretation, supplier oversight, and internal governance.
Here’s what you’ll do:

Work with SpartanNash asset management system, Service Desk Express, to create and receive requisitions, place orders, confirm deliveries, and manage inventory for multiple locations.

May review the work performed by lesser experienced IT Procurement Specialists engaged in general procurement activities.

Maintain current knowledge of legal regulations, industry trends and best procurement practices; make recommendations to improve current programs and processes and to ensure company legal compliance.

Implement strategic sourcing and vendor relationship strategies for all IT asset acquisitions (Hardware and software) and contract labor.

Consult with all IT teams to ensure Legal and IT requirements are properly integrated into the contract.

Responsible for contract interpretation and first line of dispute resolution on IT agreements, contract change control, & record keeping.

Responsible for multiple contracts or complex enterprise agreements. Works on projects that range in size, complexity and contract duration.

Ensures that IT projects and initiatives are engaging Finance and Legal at the proper times and complying with company guidelines and non-negotiables.

Conduct financial review of contracts, contract change orders to ensure yearly cost avoidance and savings targets are met.

Generate weekly and monthly inventory reconciliation for physical and digital assets.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Here’s what you’ll need:

Bachelor's Degree (Required) Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Five years Procurement experience and vendor management experience in Software License Agreements, Statement of Work Agreements, Technology Sourcing Managed Services, and Consumption Based Pricing Agreements.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational, project management, analytical, and prioritization skills.

Strong knowledge of inventory control and procurement processes.

Experience with purchasing and asset management software.

Proficient with Microsoft Office.
