Description & Requirements

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated finance professional to join the Electronic Markets Sales Finance team. This role will play a critical part in delivering financial insights, supporting sales leadership, and producing high-quality analysis and reporting to inform commercial and strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen, analytical rigor, and commercial judgment with the ability to translate complex financial and sales data into clear, actionable insights. The role will partner closely with Electronic Markets Sales leadership and broader Finance stakeholders to help drive growth, improve sales effectiveness, and enhance visibility into business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and enhance forecasting and pipeline models for the Electronic Markets Sales organization, providing timely and actionable insight into expected performance, opportunities, and risks.

  • Analyze sales performance across products, client segments, regions, and teams to identify trends, key drivers, and areas of opportunity.

  • Support financial planning processes, including quarterly forecasts, annual operating plans (AOP), long-range planning, and sales target-setting activities.

  • Develop quantitative and financial analyses to support commercial strategy, resource allocation, pricing, investment decisions, and growth initiatives.

  • Produce executive-ready reporting and presentations for Electronic Markets Sales and Finance leadership, clearly communicating performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Translate complex financial, sales, and pipeline data into clear business insights and recommendations that support decision-making.

  • Establish, monitor, and enhance KPIs related to sales performance, pipeline development, productivity, client engagement, and revenue growth.

  • Partner closely with Electronic Markets Sales leadership, Sales Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to support business planning and commercial execution.

  • Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, targets, and prior periods, identifying underlying business drivers and highlighting areas requiring management attention.

  • Support sales productivity and capacity analyses, including evaluation of coverage models, headcount deployment, and resource allocation.

  • Drive continuous improvement in sales reporting, forecasting methodologies, management information, and analytics capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2-4+ years of relevant finance, FP&A, sales finance, or business analytics experience, preferably supporting a sales-driven, financial markets, technology, or subscription-based business.

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with experience in forecasting, pipeline analysis, planning, and performance measurement.

  • Strong commercial orientation with the ability to connect financial results to underlying sales activity and business drivers.

  • Proven ability to develop executive-level materials and communicate complex analyses clearly and concisely.

  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization, reporting, and analytics tools such as Qlik, Power BI, or similar platforms.

  • Experience working with sales, CRM, pipeline, or client-level data is preferred.

  • Knowledge of electronic markets, financial markets, or financial technology is beneficial but not required.

Key Attributes

  • Data-driven problem solver with strong financial and commercial judgment.

  • Curious and analytical, with an ability to identify the business drivers behind financial and sales performance.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and translating complex information into structured insights.

  • Collaborative partner with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective relationships with senior Sales and Finance leaders.

  • Effective communicator who can influence decisions through analysis and insight without formal authority.

  • Proactive, intellectually curious, and focused on continuously improving processes, reporting, and decision support.
